Women in Church and Public Life
Question: What is your opinion about the message of 1Cor. 14:34-35 in relation to the life of women in your Church and community?
The important point for me is the exhortation in 1Tim. 2:11–12; which is in the Churches, not in the community in general!
My wife and I have had much discussion on this point, especially since in the Official Churches, women have now taken some of the Official positions!
One has to take decisions in such cases, and we choose not to be involved in such situations!
However; we both feel that much of value is available to the sort of mixed grouping where all are free of the Scripture restrictions; where all is “informal” and all participants are of the same mind-set!
